LET 'S FIND AND REWARD THE BEST & FAIREST IN THE NSBA LOCAL JUNIOR AND MINIBALL COMPETITIONS.
"I'm passionate about basketball" says sponsor JOHN GALE. "I've been involved with North's since the early 80s and it's something I've always wanted to do: acknowledge good sportsmanship and fair play in our junior players. The Best & Fairest doesn't necessarily mean the top point scorer, it means the player with a good attitude, talent and respect – and the coaches of the opposing team will do the voting!"
  • Winner in each division of Miniball & Juniors will be awarded the Best & Fairest Trophy at playoffs
  • Divisional winners are entered into the, "Best and Fairest" for their age grade.
  • Players with the most points in their Age Grade receive another award.
  • Separate trophies for both Junior Boys & Junior Girls

"Northern Suburbs Basketball Association Inc, (NSBA) has been providing basketball services as a not for profit organisation for over twenty years and we are really proud to have John Gale of Pax Financial Group come on board as sponsor of a fantastic project which will serve to encourage sporting excellence and as important, excellent sporting behaviour in junior players.

John's involvement with North's goes back to the '80's and he and his children have been active participants in the Association's domestic recreational basketball activities.

  John loves the game and sought advice and guidance from the Association as how best to return something to the sport which has given him and his family so much pleasure.

Through the Pax Financial Group's Best and Fairest Awards John seeks to promote and reward what is best in sport.

NSBA expects our players and coaches to embrace the Pax Financial Group's Best and Fairest Awards and in return seek expertise and guidance for, "Best and Fairest" advice in all lines of personal insurance from John Gale or members of his Pax Financial team.
